FITNESS IS A LIFESTYLE
My name is James Beaumont and I am a UESCA qualified trail and ultra running coach based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Endurance sports have been part of my life for over two decades. Spare time in my teens was spent mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. By University age ‘fitness’ was becoming heavily ingrained in my life, leading to a Masters degree in Sports Science.
As the years went by, I spent an increasing amount of time in the mountains. My keen interest in applied performance spurred me to go further and faster, quickly developing into a love for trail running.
Trail running has now been my primary sport, alongside road/mountain biking and Skimo, for 10 years. It has led to incredible experiences in beautiful places that I would not have had otherwise. Through coaching, I hope to help others enjoy similar experiences and to play a small part in the continual growth of this superb sport.
